We organized a Youth Parliament for VIT Pune students to provide them with a firsthand experience of the functioning of the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, and Press Council of India. The event aimed to foster political awareness, enhance public speaking, and develop leadership skills among students. Participants took on roles as Members of Parliament, journalists, and speakers, engaging in structured debates on national and global issues. They discussed policies, proposed bills, and experienced real-world decision-making in a parliamentary setting. The interactive sessions encouraged analytical thinking, diplomacy, and teamwork while promoting democratic values. This initiative helped students understand governance, legislative processes, and the impact of policymaking, inspiring them to become responsible and informed citizens.
