What is VIT Pune MUN?
Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. At a MUN conference, students work as representatives of a country, organization, or person and must solve a problem with other delegates from around the world.
The Model United Nations is a series of programs run throughout the country and the world with the goals of furthering understanding about the United Nations, educating participants about world issues, and promoting peace and the work of the United Nations through cooperation and diplomacy.
What is MUNSOC?
Model United Nations (abbreviated as Model UN or MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations, that aims to educate participants about international law, cooperation, and multilateral diplomacy.
This activity is more than just debating: MUN is about advocating a country’s position on a issue and working towards a common solution. It is an exciting opportunity to feel empowered through speech and role-play, whilst learning invaluable life skills that will stand out on your CV.
