MUN Impact for VIT Pune MUN
MUN Impact for Vit Pune Model United Nations (MUN) Impact serves as a community, a movement, and a starting point for interaction with the UN. It believes that Model United Nations (MUN) can encourage and inspire participants to move from academic debate to action that supports the mission and mandates of the United Nations, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals. It is a community of former and current delegates and MUN conference organisers (SDG). Anyone who thinks it is important to make Model UN more action-oriented or who wants to see MUNs actively support the SDs is a member of the loosely structured community.
MUN Impact is about believing that you have the power to bring small but significant change to your community.
As a community, we will be a hub for sharing stories of impactful MUN activities, best practices, and ways to support, through action, the Sustainable Development Goals.
1. Act as a platform through which the United Nations can engage the MUN community, share information, and act as a source of inspiration. 2. Deliver experiential learning opportunities for students that are focused on the SDGs and that bring together diverse individuals from around the world.
3. Organize world-class events that are planned and executed by students to encourage more sharing and collaboration around the SDGs.
